Service bays, work orders and parts — operating within the Automotive operational architecture, with capabilities, data fields, and workflows configured for how an auto repair actually manages its day-to-day operations.
An auto repair shop lives and dies by workshop throughput. Every bay that sits idle, every job card that goes missing, and every parts order that comes in late directly erodes your profit margin. Running the workshop well means keeping every vehicle moving from intake to completion without a single dropped ball in between.
Your service advisor is taking calls, writing estimates, chasing the parts supplier, updating the customer and reassigning a technician — all before noon. Jobs stall because a part didn't arrive, a technician got pulled to another car, or nobody updated the status in the job card. Chasing down that information across sticky notes, a whiteboard and a group chat is the daily reality for most shop owners.
These are the capabilities configured for this template. Start with them, then adjust to your process — nothing invented, only what a auto repair actually uses.
Keep the team organized and shifts covered.
Hire the people you need without losing track of candidates.
Deploy from the Automotive operational baseline—shared capabilities, field structures, and workflow logic—then extend it with the data models, process steps, and reporting formats specific to a auto repair operation. The architecture configures around your internal processes and scales as your business grows.
