Straightforward answers about what we collect, why, and the controls you keep.

Last updated: 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how ConfigBiz, as a software-as-a-service provider, handles personal and business information when you visit our website, create an account or use our service. Your business data — the records you enter into your workspace — belongs to you and your company.

2. Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address so we can sign you in and contact you about your account. When you use the service, we store the data your team enters — employees, customers, schedules, finances and configuration — so the service can work. We also collect limited technical data such as the devices you use, approximate location at the region level, and service logs for security and reliability.

3. Why we collect it

We use this information to provide and operate ConfigBiz, keep it secure, respond to support requests, send service notices, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information or your business data. We do not use your business records to train models for other customers.

4. How we share information

We share data only with the providers we use to run the service — such as hosting, payments and email delivery — each bound by confidentiality obligations, and only to the extent needed to deliver the service. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of customers and the public.

5. Data retention

Account information is retained while your account is active. Workspace data can be exported at any time, and deleting a workspace removes your business data from our systems, subject to backup and legal retention periods.

6. Security

Your records are scoped to your company through server-side access controls, credentials are encrypted at rest, and access is logged. We enforce industry-standard technical and organizational measures and review them continuously. No service can be absolutely secure, and we encourage you to protect your login details.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can update profile details from your account settings, and you can contact us to exercise any other rights.

8. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage for the sign-in session and for remembering your theme preference. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser.

9. Children's information

ConfigBiz is a business software product intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Third-party links

Our website and product may link to third-party sites, such as integration providers. This policy does not cover those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be announced in advance on our website, and the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.

12. Contact us

For privacy questions or requests, contact us through our contact page. We operate from San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, and will respond to privacy requests promptly.
